Terms of Use for PontoCerto

Effective date: August 10, 2026 Last updated: October 21, 2026

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using PontoCerto (“the App”), developed by Renato Ferraz (“developer,” “we”).

By downloading, installing, or using PontoCerto, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What PontoCerto is

PontoCerto is a personal support tool for time tracking, work-hours calculation, overtime, and monthly-cycle history, with alarms via AlarmKit. It is a personal organization aid — it is not an official, legally certified time-tracking system, and it does not replace any electronic time-recording system (REP) required by local labor regulations, nor any time-tracking system provided by your employer.

2. License grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PontoCerto on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.

You may not:

3. Your data and privacy

Your time records stay on your device and, if enabled, sync exclusively through your personal iCloud account. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups (iCloud or a backup file) and for the security of your Apple Account.

4. UAPP account, suggestions and comments

The App optionally lets you sign in to a UAPP account and send suggestions, comments and votes through Feedback and the Roadmap. None of this is required to use PontoCerto.

What you publish on the Roadmap can be seen by other people who use the App, with your name and photo. By sending it, you state that the content is yours and agree not to post content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, sexual, violent, spam, or that infringes the rights of others. We may hide or remove content and block authors who break these rules. To report content, write to the contact e-mail below.

5. PontoCerto Pro (subscriptions)

PontoCerto can be used for free. Some features (such as real alarms, the PDF report, the Apple Watch app, widgets, full history and automatic backup) are part of PontoCerto Pro, an auto-renewable subscription.

6. Disclaimer regarding calculations and alarms

This is the most important section of these Terms — please read it carefully.

PontoCerto is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

You use PontoCerto at your own risk, as a personal support tool — the ultimate responsibility for meeting schedules and validating worked hours always remains yours.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including loss of data, loss of recorded hours, or losses resulting from a calculation error or alarm failure.

The developer’s total liability, where applicable and not excluded by law, is limited to the amount you paid for PontoCerto Pro in the 12 months preceding the event (or $0, if you only use the free version).

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be lawfully excluded, such as liability arising from the developer’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Intellectual property

PontoCerto, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Renato Ferraz and protected by copyright law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the App to you.

9. Updates and availability

We may release updates, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. There is no obligation of ongoing support, although the intent is to keep improving the App.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. This does not cancel an active subscription (cancel it in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions) and does not affect data already synced to your personal iCloud account, which remains under your control.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the developer’s domicile, except where applicable law grants the user a different venue.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary. Material changes will be communicated within the App, and the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
